Bio

I've started playing bass guitar in highschool bands and volonteering at a local venue in 2005. After a master degree in audiovisual techniques, I started as a mixing and recording assistant at late Parisian facility Plus XXX. I had then the opportunity to to split my time between recording studios and live shows, working at Midilive Studios or Les Studios Saint-Germain and also freelancing at La Philharmonie de Paris.

I've worked there on multiple recording sessions and live shows from pop and musical scores to jazz, classical music and punk before going full time freelance. Those years taught me to work with analog gear and tape machines in the studio and with latest digital technologies on live concerts.

In 2019 I joined Black Box Studios' team as in-house engineer where I now enjoy working alongside studio founder Peter Deimel. I've there had the pleasure to record, mix and tweak guitar pedals with Lofofora, Quentin Sauvé and Piers Faccini among others.

I've also developed long standing collaborations with Fiona Monbet, Vincent Peirani and Tony Paeleman, working with them in the studio and on the road as FOH engineer. My work as a recording and FOH engineer are truly intertwined and it's always fascinating and challenging to translate the aesthetics of a record in a live environment.

I now share my days between Black Box Studio, Philharmonie de Paris, freelance recording sessions and touring.
